Man Killed In St. Paul Park Shooting ID'd
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in St. Paul have identified the man killed Sunday night in a shooting at a park on the city's east side.
The St. Paul Police Department said 18-year-old Bobby Davion Collins, of St. Paul, died at Indian Mounds Regional Park.
Officers responding to the shooting found him suffering for a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
On Monday, police arrested 24-year-old Prince Kavanaugh Williams, of Minneapolis, in connection to the shooting.
It remains unclear what led to the violence. Witnesses said a family barbecue was taking place in the park before a fight and gunshots rang out.
Police described the scene as chaotic and said hundreds of people were in the park when the shooting happened.
