3 Injured Following 3 Shootings In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis are investigating Thursday after three separate shootings injured at least three people.

The first shooting happened a little after 10 a.m. near the intersection of Fremont and Dowling avenues on the city's north side. Police say a bystander suffered a non-life-threatening injury to his face.

Three people were taken into custody, but it's not yet clear if it was in connection to this shooting.

The second shooting happened shortly after noon on the 2200 block of Elliott Avenue on the city's south side. Several vehicles were involved in a firefight.

One man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hip. It's not yet clear if the victim was a target of the shooting or a passer-by.

No one has been arrested in this case.

The third shooting happened just before 1 p.m. at Aldrich Avenue and 28th Street West. Police say one vehicle was involved and it not random. The victim, a man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
