1. Cardio

Get your heart rate up. Exercising your cardiovascular system is key to improving endurance, burning fat and feeling great. Any exercise that raises your heart rate and keeps it elevated for at least 30 minutes, three times a week will benefit your metabolism, fitness and overall health. Find an activity you enjoy like walking, running, biking or swimming.

2. Weight training

More muscle mass equals less body fat. Sofia recommends exercising in a way that improves muscle tone through resistance training in order to help sculpt your body. Weight training three times a week provides the best results.

3. Support

One of the biggest barriers to sticking with an exercise program is the lack of support. Join a run club or a group exercise class to connect with those that have similar fitness goals. That extra boost of motivation can do the trick.

4. Accountability

Your local gym probably won't even notice if you take a leave of absence. Sofia and her team hold their members accountable by reaching out to those that have missed a couple workouts. Find a gym that cares and will do the same.

5. Nutrition

Posted right on the wall at Fit Body Boot Camp is the all-too-true statement, "You can't out train a bad diet." Knowing the basics of what to put in your body is a critical component to supporting a fit body. Sofia and her team work with their members to help improve their nutrition so they don't sabotage all the hard work done at the club.

Sound like a long list? Fit Body Boot Camp combines all of these elements of fitness into an efficient and effective 30-minute workout. Sofia recommends attending at least three times a week for maximum benefit.
