The views were magnificent, watching the snow fall onto downtown’s twinkling lights, but the star of the night was the food. Area restaurants plowed through the snow to showcase signature dishes and they did it well.
I was amazed by the Dakota Jazz Club’s jalapeno poppers, which had just the right amount of spice complimented by smoky ham and cheese. Another favorite was the pimento cheese ball with summer sausage and tomato from Uptown Cafeteria.
