Officer Arik Matson To Return Home To Minnesota For Continued Rehabilitation
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Waseca police officer shot in the head during a standoff in January told his friends and family Wednesday that he'll see them soon.
Arik Matson has been through several surgeries and extensive rehabilitation. A post by his wife on CaringBridge says he has made strides during rehab in Nebraska.
They are looking forward to him coming home to continue his therapy in Minnesota in the coming week.
